Wadi Midriq
Wadi Midriq is in the north-western part of the Kom Ombo Drainage Basin, surveyed by the EDS under the guidance of Russ Rothe, but not completed and not published. I am grateful to Cheryl Hanson for all the photos here. Some motifs, like the 'frond' boat and the bow carrying hunters with one hand on hip would not be out of place in the CED. Others are unique-the round headed human figures and the life-size cattle. Some of the animals are more realistically drawn than in the CED.
