Wadi Abu Wasil

Wadi Abu Wasil contains 26 sites. The first few are Late ones and the pharaonic and later sites (including inscriptions) tend to be spread out along the wadi, showing routes to the mines and the sea. The predynastic sites cluster-especially in a well-watered part of the wadi at RME-26 and associated sites. This wadi is notable for its bow and throw-stick carrying figures standing in boats.
